We are an independent living home for retired senior women who want to maintain their independence while enjoying the warmth of community. We are not an assisted living or medical facility. 

Our home is ideal for retired senior women who are mostly independent but appreciate companionship, shared meals, and a supportive, peaceful living environment. 

 Yes. Residents who receive home health or hospice services are welcome at Loving Spaces Scenic Way. While we do not provide medical care ourselves, many of our residents receive support from outside providers, and we work respectfully alongside those services to ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment. 

 We offer fully furnished private rooms, weekly housekeeping, laundry service, and nightly communal dinners. Residents also enjoy shared living areas and a calm, home-like setting. 

 Monthly rent at Loving Spaces Scenic Way includes:

• All utilities (electricity, water, gas, trash, and high-speed internet) 
• A fully furnished private or shared bedroom (furniture can be removed if desired) 
• Nightly communal dinners 
• Food provided for breakfast and lunch (residents prepare these meals themselves) 
• Weekly housekeeping and laundry service 
• Access to all shared living spaces 
• A peaceful, well-maintained home environment 
• A kind and supportive community of women
   

There are no hidden fees—just one monthly rate for a simple, supportive lifestyle.

 Yes! While rooms are fully furnished, residents are welcome to personalize their space with decorations, photos, or small furniture pieces. If preferred, we’re happy to remove our furnishings to make room for yours. 

We currently share our home with Jazzy the cat and Cody, a sweet little terrier—both are friendly members of our community. While we don’t have an open-door pet policy, small pets may be allowed on a case-by-case basis, depending on their temperament and compatibility with the home. If you have a beloved companion animal, we’re happy to talk and see if it’s a good fit.

Yes, friends and family are always welcome to visit. We simply ask that all guests are respectful of the home’s quiet, communal nature and the comfort of fellow residents. 

 No, we do not have 24/7 on-site staff. This is an independent living home, and residents must be capable of managing their own medications and personal care. 

We enjoy complimentary communal dinners every evening, offering time for connection and conversation. David, one of the owners and a former professional chef, plans the weekly menu and cooks twice a week. The remaining meals are prepared by kind, trusted cooks to provide variety and nourishment. 

We don’t have a formal activity schedule. Residents are encouraged to engage with one another naturally—sharing meals, chatting in the living room, enjoying hobbies, or taking quiet time in their own rooms.

Our pricing varies depending on the type of room you’re interested in. We offer both private and shared rooms, and some residents choose to bring their own furniture while others prefer a fully furnished space.
